No Tenemos Miedo a las Ruinas

"No tenemos miedo a las ruinas. Traemos un mundo nuevo en nuestros corazones"
This sentence was attributed to anarchist Buenaventura Durruti. There is no evidence of him saying it but I don't care. The sentence is still full of hope, rage and a willingness to fight.
The t-shirt is available in english and spanish because I didn't want to choose.

For the illustration I choose two elements:
- The swift, a bird that spends its life on the air, up to 10 months flying without ever landing.
- The poppies that grow on the side of the roads in the south, everywhere around my mother's hometown. In the ditches, in the gutters of the roads is where the fascist made mass graves and buried thousands of people during the spanish civil war. Many are still there, their families still looking for them. The red poppies grow over them so we never forget where they are and why.
